Jos. T. Samuels

Scott Peyton is an eighth generation native of Albemarle County and a graduate of Virginia Tech University with a degree in Horticulture. For many years, Scott put his education to work in the landscaping business and raising strawberries, pumpkins and other specialty crops at Seven Oaks, the family farm in Western Albemarle. With his work in farming, Scott has been active in local historic and land use matters focusing on scenic easements and protecting the rural character of our community, especially Rte. 250 in western Albemarle. Having retired from farming, Scott has entered the real estate field to continue his efforts in land preservation. Scott still lives in Greenwood with his wife, Paige, and two children.
